The beautiful and talented gospel artist, songwriter, actress, and author of three books, was born in 1964 as the eighth child. Also known as Priscillia Winans, she and her elder brother Bebe worked together on songs up until 1987.

In 1994, she began recording her solo debut album Alone In His Presence which had her working her way through traditional gospel styles, top songs on the album included Great Is Thy Faithfulness, Blessed Assurance. She bagged several awards with this debut album including the female vocalist of the year.

Three years later, two albums titled His Gift and Everlasting Love were dropped. In 1999 she launched her record label Purespring Gospel under which Alabaster Box was released that same year. The song Alabaster Box tells the story of the woman who gave her all to Jesus and revealed the untainted love of Christ. This worship song still lives in the memories of many believers.

After releasing her self-titled album in 2001, she took a two years break and on September 9, 2003, Throne Room was released. In 2005, Purified was dropped. Thy Kingdom Come followed in 2008 and afterward, Songs Of Emotional Healing and For Always; Best Of Cece Winans was released in 2010. She has won numerous awards, including ten Grammy Awards and seven Stellar Awards. She has sold 12 million records worldwide. CeCe is also the best-selling female gospel artist of all time.

The album released on February 3, was co-produced by her son Alvin Love, titled Let Them Fall In Love. Alvin provided a new musical direction which led his mother in some new directions. Cece who never believed she could sing in this new light took it upon herself to learn new methods ranging from lively approach like Hey Devil featuring The Clark Sisters, Lowly and Why Me Lord, Dancing in the Spirit featured Hezekiah Walkers Love Fellowship Choir and of course the theme  Let Them Fall In Love is also a track on the new album.

Cece has revealed that the songs are clearly different from what her fans would be expecting but have found a way to satisfy her old listeners and get new fans.
